Dr. Dan Finnegan is a Western Pennsylvania native, having grown up in Ambridge, Beaver County. He received his undergraduate education at Duquesne University and attended dental school at Temple University where he graduated, Magna cum Laude. Following graduation, Dr. Finnegan returned back to Western Pennsylvania to complete a one-year General Practice Residency at Allegheny General Hospital where he further developed his clinical skills. Since finishing his residency, he has pursued many hours of continuing education, most recently completing a mini-residency with the prestigious Dawson Academy. Dr. Finnegan firmly believes the idiom: “patients don’t care how much you know unless they know how much you care.” As a result, he strives to make each patient feel comfortable and welcome at every appointment. Dr. Finnegan is grateful for the opportunity to work for South Hills Dental Arts, an organization that shares his values, and he is excited to have access to their state of the art technology, mentorship and culture. Dr. Finnegan, his wife Beth, and their dog Preston live in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
