Working closely with patients on a day to day basis is one of her favorite parts of the job. When she’s not at work, Tess enjoys spending time at home with her cats, Gus and Smalls, taking fun workout classes, or hanging out with her friends.

After working as a phlebotomist for three years, Taylor decided to transition into dentistry in 2020. Since then, she has been working as a Dental Assistant and takes great pride in providing her patients with the highest level of care possible. Taylor is dedicated to advancing her knowledge in the field and is committed to continuous learning and growth. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and their dog, as well as seeing friends and family, going to the gym, cooking, attending concerts, and exploring the outdoors.

I obtained my bachelor’s degree as a dentist at the University of Carabobo in Venezuela. I arrived in the United States of America in 2019 in the city of Miami in the state of Florida, and obtained my EFDA and Radiology Certification. In April 2023, I moved to the city of Pittsburgh, and in May of that year, I became Certified in Radiology from the state of Pennsylvania. I feel very fortunate to be a part of the team of professionals at South Hills Dental Arts since May 2024. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and love to dance.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Julisa recently joined the team at South Hills Dental Arts in November 2022, bringing over seven years of experience in the dental industry. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and in 2021, she graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Dental School as a Dental Hygienist. Julisa is dedicated to providing exceptional care to her patients and has recieved a license in local anesthesia to ensure their maximum comfort. Outside of work, Julisa enjoys hiking, baking, and spending quality time with her husband and their furry companion, Bailey.

Lead Financial Coordinator, EFDA

Dave graduated from Bradford School and has held his Expanded Function Dental Assisting license since 2009. He has worked in clinical dentistry since that time while working towards his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, which he earned in 2016 form Robert Morris University. He now takes on an administrative role but still offers his support to the clinical team. Outside of work, Dave loves to be with his wife and daughter, listen to music, play guitar, watch and play sports, and cook.
